Dana White thinks Ronda Rousey will fight before the end of 2016

Dana White believes Ronda Rousey is ready for a comeback sooner rather than later.

In an interview with Maggie Gray on SI Now, White said he thinks Rousey will fight before the year is over, despite having knee surgery in June.

“I think it’s gonna happen, yeah. I think she’s gonna fight this year,” White said. “She’s training, she went in and had a bunch of minor surgeries to fix things that she had never fixed, that needed to be fixed, and she’s feeling good and getting feisty again.”

White prefaced that by saying he’s gotten no indication as to whether or not Rousey was ready to fight by year’s end.

Rousey, 29, has not fought since being knocked out by Holly Holm at UFC 193 on Nov. 15, 2015.
