Conor McGregor favored to win over Eddie Alvarez, Jose Aldo and Nate Diaz
Conor McGregor has a few options for his next fight, and it appears that he will be the favorite in all of them.
Fresh off a five-round majority decision win over Nate Diaz at UFC 202, McGregor has been rumored for a few different matchups for his next bout with a couple championship opportunities as well.
The UFC wants McGregor to fight Jose Aldo in his first featherweight title defense but there's also a chance for the Irishman to go to lightweight and battle new champion Eddie Alvarez as well.
The third option is McGregor finishes out his trilogy with Diaz after their latest battle tied the series at one win a piece. No matter who McGregor faces out of that trio of potential opponents, the odds makers at Bovada.lv have him as the favorite in all three fights.
In a potential fight for the 155-pound title on the line, McGregor would sit at a -185 favorite over Alvarez as the underdog at +150.
McGregor would enjoy those same exact odds for a rematch with Aldo, who he knocked out last December in a stunning performance as he finished the Brazilian in just 13-seconds.
As far as a third fight with Diaz, McGregor would actually be an even bigger favorite at -190 with the comeback on his opponent from Stockton, Calif. at +155.
McGregor actually closed as a -160 favorite in his rematch with Diaz last Saturday night but the win apparently puts him at even greater odds to handle a third fight if and when it ever comes together.
While the odds are interesting, McGregor still hasn’t committed to any of those fights and there's no clear indication on what he may decided to do next. McGregor has even hinted as opportunities outside the UFC, which could pay reference to his long rumored bout against boxing's pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather.
