Following an injury to Dennis Siver, Cole Miller has accepted a short notice fight against Hall of Famer BJ Penn in a new fight announced for UFC 199.

The fight was announced via "UFC Tonight" on Wednesday.

Miller returns to action following a no contest in his last fight from December 2015 when his bout against Jim Alers was stopped due to an accidental eye poke.

Prior to that fight, Miller was 2-2 over his last four fights including wins over Sam Sicilia and Andy Ogle while facing defeats to Manny Gamburyan and Max Holloway.

Miller will face Penn, who returns to action following his own retirement in 2014 following a loss to Frankie Edgar in his featherweight debut in the UFC.

Now Penn returns at UFC 199 on June 4 at 145 pounds with his fight against Miller headlining the preliminary card airing live on FS1.
