Serbia: Hard court for Davis Cup final

Serbia's tennis association has chosen a hardcourt surface for its Davis Cup final against France in December.

Serbia reached the finals for the first time after beating the Czech Republic 3-2 at home last month, also on a hardcourt surface. Earlier, Serbia beat Croatia in the quarterfinal.

France brushed aside Argentina 5-0 in the other semifinal.

The final is scheduled for Dec. 3-5 in the Belgrade Arena.
