Love actually: Navratilova proposes to girlfriend at U.S. Open

It was love-love for Martina Navratilova and Russian model Julia Lemigova during Saturday's U.S. Open.

The 57-year-old tennis legend proposed to her longtime partner while providing commentary for the day's semifinal matches.

According to People magazine, Navratilova was in the midst of a Tennis Channel interview when she declared that she would now be providing the requests. She then turned to Lemigova, got down on one knee and popped the question, which Lemigova tearily accepted. The moment was broadcast on the big screen at Arthur Ashe Stadium.

New York has been good to Navratilova, as she has won the U.S. Open four times in her dominant 59 Grand Slam title career.
