Gael Monfils did some mindbending damage to a U.S. Open clock

BY foxsports • August 30, 2016

10th-seeded Gael Monfils advanced to the second round of the U.S. Open Monday with a victory in straight sets over Gilles Muller, and he fortunately avoided picking up what would have been a bizarre injury when the match clock tipped over and nearly fell on his foot.

So what's going on here? The videoboard that displays the match time is made up of a bunch of square panels set up in a grid, and when the clock tipped over, each square fell out of place.
