Everyone showed up for Serena-Venus match ... except their mom
The U.S. Open quarterfinals match-up between sisters/powerhouses Serena and Venus Williams was bound to get a lot of attention. No. 1 player in the world Serena was just three matches away from winning a calendar Grand Slam, which hasn't been accomplished since 1988.
The 23rd-seeded Venus Williams, 35, has been on an upswing, playing some of her best tennis as of late.
So of course, this meeting of American superpowers was bound to draw quite a star-studded crowd in New York City as well.
Bold-faced names such as Kim Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, Joe Jonas and Nas showed up to witness history on the court.

The almighty Oprah Winfrey took to the stands with BFF Gayle King and was not immune to the Arthur Ashe Stadium action:

And of course, New Yorker and Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump made an appearance as well.
Everybody who's anybody was there ... except the sisters' mom, Oracene Price. She couldn't bear to watch either sister lose — which Venus did, 6-2, 1-6, 6-3.
