Fernando Gonzalez and Andy Roddick have arranged a charity doubles match on the eve of the men's final at the Sony Ericsson Open to benefit earthquake-stricken Chile.

Grand Slam champions Jim Courier and Gustavo Kuerten will also take part in the match next Saturday, which will follow the women's final.

Gonzalez, a native of Santiago, Chile, recently visited 12 damaged cities in his native country.

``I saw that they really need help,'' he said. ``I'm trying to do this event for Chile. We can do it now. I'm really happy for that. We're going to try to make a big show, and hopefully the people can have fun.''

Promoters said all proceeds will benefit Hogar de Christo's Chilean earthquake relief.

``It has been a really sad story, the catastrophe that happened,'' said Kuerten, a Brazilian. ``And probably with our help and just the attention that we can get also around the world, I think we get people more and more involved.''
