Bryan brothers roll to quarters of US Open doubles

NEW YORK (AP) Americans Bob and Mike Bryan advanced to the quarterfinals of the U.S. Open doubles Monday, downing countrymen Bradley Klahn and Tim Smyzek 6-3, 7-6 (5).

The 36-year-old Bryan brothers, the world's top-ranked doubles team, have yet to drop a set through their first three matches. They capped the victory with their trademark chest bump.

In a career of milestones, the Bryans are pursuing their 100th career doubles title together. They hold a record 15 Grand Slam tournament titles, including four U.S. Opens, but have not won one since Wimbledon 2013.

A win at the U.S. Open would give them at least one Grand Slam tournament title for a record 10 straight years.
