Zubar pleased to bounce back
Zubar's woeful back pass presented Daniel Sturridge with the injury-time winner as Wanderers triumphed 1-0 at the Reebok Stadium last week. But the 25-year-old responded with an impressive performance in Wolves' victory over Manchester United at the weekend, for which he was keen to give credit to others. He told the club's official website: "It wasn't easy to recover for a couple of days. I was angry with myself and had it on my mind. "But once I got on the pitch and the fans were shouting 'Zubar' it was like, 'Come on, let's go Zubey'. We've got unbelievable fans and the support I had was great. "Everyone was behind me, not just the fans but the players and of course firstly the manager. He gave me my confidence back, as did all the boys who I had been so disappointed for after working so hard against Bolton."
