Zimbabwe coach Rahman Gumbo has selected a new national football team following the suspension of more than 80 players in a match-fixing scandal.

Gumbo named a 24-man squad of at least 15 untainted international players. They are scheduled to start training next week in Harare for an African Cup of Nations qualifier at Burundi on Feb. 29.

Gumbo replaced suspended national coach Norman Mapeza after a probe by the Zimbabwe football association found that top players accepted money from an Asian betting syndicate to lose matches in Asia between 2007 and 2009.
