Zidane urges son to focus on school not soccer
Zinedine Zidane says his son has yet to decide whether to play for the France or Spain under-16 soccer team.
Zidane says what's more important is that his 15-year-old son succeeds in school.
After speculation in the Spanish press that Enzo Zidane would soon represent Spain at the junior level, Zidane said neither France nor Spain has called up his son to play, and ''it's all for the better.''
In an interview with TV channel France 24 set to air Wednesday, Zidane also said Enzo has inherited his technical skills after spending hours playing soccer together.
The head of the Spanish under-16 team reportedly said he plans to call Enzo, whose mother is Spanish.
