Manchester City says defender Pablo Zabaleta has signed a four-year contract extension with the Premier League club.
The 28-year-old Argentine international, who joined City in 2008, says on the club's website that ''I have been here for five years, it feels like home'' and that ''I think we have a great squad and hopefully we can win something this year.''
Zabaleta has made 175 appearances for City, which has a new manager in Manuel Pellegrini this season.
