Barcelona will be without Xavi Hernandez for Wednesday's Champions League match against Stuttgart after he sustained a muscle injury in training.

Barcelona says Xavi hurt his right calf on Tuesday and is expected to be sidelined two weeks.

The Spain midfielder has played more minutes than any other outfield player this season for the European champions.

Barcelona also said Wednesday that midfielder Seydou Keita has been cleared to return against Stuttgart after missing one month with a leg injury.

Barcelona goes into the game at the Camp Nou holding the away-goal advantage in the last 16 knockout round following a 1-1 draw three weeks ago.
