West Ham beat fellow struggler Wigan 3-1 on Saturday for its first Premier League win since September.

West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green saved a penalty from substitute Mauro Boselli just after the hour.

Tom Cleverley scored for Wigan with five minutes left.

The Hammers have won only two league games all season and remain last in the 20-team division with 12 points from 15 matches.

Wigan is 18th with 14 points from 15 matches.
