The Italian soccer club Hellas Verona has left Rome by train a day after its team bus was attacked by Roma fans.
The attack happened on the outskirts of the city after Roma beat the promoted club 3-0 Sunday. Some of the windows of the Verona bus were broken.
While there were no reports of injuries, Verona decided to stay in Rome that night amid heavy security and return home by rail instead.
At the game, one end of the Stadio Olimpico was closed to fans because of actions by Roma supporters last season when they made racist chants at AC Milan star Mario Balotelli.
