Valero leaves Hawthorns on loan

Valero, the club's £4.7million record signing when he arrived two summers ago, returned to Albion for pre-season training after a season on loan at Real Mallorca. But the 25-year-old was keen to continue his career in Spain and a deal with Villarreal has been thrashed out.
