Rooney has recovered from a bruised foot and central defender Rio Ferdinand a groin problem, injuries which forced Sir Alex Ferguson to leave them out of Saturday's win at Bolton. Dimitar Berbatov is expected to find himself back on the bench to make way for 33-goal Rooney, whilst Federico Macheda will provide striking support amongst the substitutes at the Allianz Arena.
