Janssen will make the switch in the summer, having agreed a four-year deal with the defending champions. The 24-year-old midfielder has made 108 appearances for Roda JC over four seasons, scoring 20 goals. "I see this transfer as a good step in my career," Janssen told FC Twente's website. "Two years ago I was asked which club I wanted to go to for my development and I said FC Twente. It's nice that this is going to happen." And Roda have already moved to replace Janssen, announcing that they will sign 22-year-old midfielder Donald Mitchell from Ajax on a free transfer at the end of the season. Mitchell has come through the Ajax academy, but despite a number of appearances, a persistent knee injury prevented him from nailing down a regular place in the first-team. After being sent out on loan, Mitchell made the decision to leave Ajax at the end of his contract to seek regular football. "I am mentally much stronger after all this and when the injury was over and I was out on loan at Willem II, I made the decision to leave," he told Roda's website.
