A linesman in Turkey has been injured after being hit in the head when fans threw objects onto the field, forcing the league match to be abandoned.
The incident occurred Monday after Bursaspor scored against home team Gaziantepspor in the 56th minute to lead 1-0.
It was not immediately clear what hit the linesman, but Hurriyet newspaper said on its website that he was injured.
The Turkish Football Federation says it is investigating the incident.

Bursapor is the Turkish defending champion and is leading the standings this season.
