An Icelandic website quoted Gudjonsson questioning the team's spirit under Laws ahead of their 4-1 Premier League victory at Hull on Saturday. The 29-year-old, whose contract with the Clarets expires this summer, attended an internal disciplinary hearing on Monday. The Iceland international was reported to have told fotbolti.net: "He (Laws) lost the dressing room long ago. "I think all the players have lost faith in him, the performances say all that has to be said." Prior to the Hull result - Burnley's first triumph on the road in the Premier League all season - the team had won just once in 13 league games since Laws' appointment in January. In their previous match just over a week ago, the Clarets slumped to a humiliating 6-1 defeat at home against Manchester City and they remain four points from safety in 18th place with four fixtures remaining. With reference to the City game, Gudjonsson was quoted as saying: "This shows that the guys do not believe in what he is doing."
