Tottenham says midfielder Steven Pienaar will be out for six weeks after undergoing groin surgery.
The South Africa international was injured Saturday during a preseason friendly against Athletic Bilbao.
Tottenham says Pienaar ''is expected to be sidelined with the injury for up to six weeks.''
