First-year coach Preki Radosavljevic has been fired by Toronto for winning only seven of 24 games in Major League Soccer.

Toronto appears likely to miss the playoffs following Saturday's 1-0 home loss to D.C. United, which has the poorest record in the league.

Director of soccer Mo Johnston, with the team since it began playing in MLS in 2007, was also fired.

Preki, inducted last month into the U.S. Hall of Fame, earned MLS coach of the year honors at Chivas USA.
