Alan Gordon scored in the 21st minute and Toronto FC advanced to the Canadian Championship final, beating FC Edmonton 1-0 on Wednesday night.
Toronto, the Major League Soccer team that won the tournament the last two years, took the two-game series 4-0 on aggregate after winning the opener 3-0 in Edmonton on April 27.
Gordon put a left-footed shot high into the left corner past goalkeeper Lance Parker.
FC Edmonton is an expansion team in the North American Soccer League.
