The Toffees beat Wolves 2-1 at the weekend to end a run of six defeats in seven games that sent them spinning down the Premier League. Next up for David Moyes' men is a trip to another one of the division's struggling teams, Bolton, at the Reebok Stadium on Saturday. The Trotters currently occupy the final relegation spot but are just four points behind Everton, who rose to 12th following their win at Goodison Park. Cahill admits that attritional victories like the one against Mick McCarthy's men can be frustrating to watch for the fans, but he insists the players have little choice given the small squad at Goodison and their precarious position in the table. "It wasn't the best football against Wolves, but so long as we pick up points over the next few games, that's all that matters," the Australian told the club's official website. "But we need to do that individually. I don't think we can be looking over three or four games. "I know it is frustrating for the fans, but for the players all we want to do is win games. "We have to stand up and be counted, and make sure that you always face up to adversity, whatever it may be. "We have a small squad and we have got no choice. These players are going to play in week in, week out. And nothing is going to change. We keep fighting away until the end. "If we play ugly and get results, then so be it."
