Cheryl Cole's representatives have confirmed that the Girls Aloud
singer is splitting from Chelsea defender Ashley Cole.
The announcement is no surprise after a series of revelations
about Ashley's alleged extra-marital affairs.

Cheryl asks the media to respect her privacy during this difficult
time,' said a statememt.
His behaviour is already thought to have cost Cole between
£200,000 and £400,000 in the form of a fine from his
club, and now looks likely to cost him his marriage.
Cole is strongly rumoured to be keen on a move away from
Chelsea this summer, with Real Madrid and Barcelona among the clubs
expected to be interested in the left-back.
