The 27-year-old Romanian was handed the charge yesterday over a clash with Norwich striker James Vaughan during the Baggies 1-0 win at Carrow Road on Sunday. Tamas had until 6pm today to respond to the charge, but he has chosen to accept his punishment. A statement on the FA website read: "West Bromwich Albion's Gabriel Tamas will begin a three match suspension with immediate effect after he accepted a charge of violent conduct. "Tamas was charged following an incident during West Bromwich Albion's fixture at Norwich City on Sunday 11 September."
