Swiss club FC Sion has hired its third different coach in a typically volatile season, appointing Pierre-Andre Schuermann to replace Michel Decastel.
Sion says club president Christian Constantin acted after sensing tension between Decastel and his team, which is third in the 10-team Swiss league.
Sion says it will evaluate the coaching situation at the end of the year, during the midseason break.
Schuermann is Sion's 28th coach in the past 10 years. He led the Switzerland under-21 team before taking charge at Neuchatel Xamax in the 2009-10 season.

Decastel was hired only last month to replace Sebastian Fournier, who stood aside after insulting players following a loss.
