Swindon have signed three players on loan from Tottenham after their transfer embargo was lifted.

Defender Nathan Byrne and midfielders Dean Parrett and Massimo Luongo have all moved from White Hart Lane to the County Ground for the remainder of the season.

The embargo was inherited by the League One club's new owners but was lifted after the Robins had satisfied all Football League requirements.

Midfielder Parrett, 21, who has made four appearances for Spurs, has previously spent loan spells with Charlton, Plymouth and Aldershot.

Right-back Byrne, 20, has also been loaned out on three previous occasions by Spurs, to Brentford, Bournemouth and Crawley.

Australian midfielder Luongo, who made his debut for Tottenham in the League Cup last season, played nine games for Ipswich this season during a four-month loan spell.

The three new signings boost manager Kevin MacDonald's squad ahead of the League One run-in as Swindon look to complete back-to-back promotions.
