Swansea are hoping to welcome first-choice goalkeeper Michel Vorm back into their plans for Sunday's clash with Manchester United, with the Dutchman having been missing since the end of October.

Spanish midfielder Pablo Hernandez is also set to return after shaking off a calf strain, and his fellow countryman Angel Rangel is back in contention following a calf complaint.

Neil Taylor is the Swans' only long-term absentee, with the Wales international having suffered a fractured ankle in September.

Manchester United could bring club captain Nemanja Vidic back into their starting XI.

The Serbian centre-half made a brief cameo appearance against Sunderland last time out, but is now pushing for a recall following a frustrating spell on the sidelines.

Rafael is also expected to return after being rested for the Black Cats clash as he nursed a hamstring problem, while Shinji Kagawa could be considered by Sir Alex Ferguson after returning to first team training earlier this month.
