Swansea beat Wigan 2-1 to end a five-match winless run in the English Premier League on Saturday.

Pablo Hernandez and Michu scored in a three-minute span from the 65th minute for 2-0 but Wigan replied almost instantly through Emmerson Boyce.

Arouna Kone thought he equalized with a header but it was ruled out for offside by a hairpin, and Wigan slumped to a sixth straight match without a win.

Neither team wore the anti-racism Kick It Out T-shirts in the warmup in a gesture of solidarity to players who didn't want to wear them.
