Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen has agreed a sponsorship deal with American solar power company SunPower Corp.
Last season's league runner-up said Friday it had agreed a deal with the California-based company until 2014.
Bayer managing director Wolfgang Holzhaeuser said: ''We were working day and night in the last weeks ... to find a new main and shirt sponsor. We have broken new ground with our international arrangement. I am very satisfied with the outcome.''
Financial details were not disclosed.

Leverkusen's previous sponsor, electricity supplier Teldafax, ended its agreement two years ahead of schedule in June due to financial difficulties. It had been the club's main sponsor since July 2007.
