Sunderland squares off against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Sept. 24. Here’s all the info you need to watch.

Sunderland manager David Moyes must hope Wednesday’s League Cup win at Queens Park will serve as a sufficient confidence boost for his men, who are still in search of their first Premier League win of the young season.

The Stadium of Light will play host to the unpredictable Crystal Palace Friday, and the Wearsiders are hoping to reverse their trend of one draw from five games played thus far.

August and September have historically been rough months for Sunderland, as the team has not collected any Premier League wins in those two months during each of their last four seasons.

Crystal Palace, on the other hand, heads into Sunderland in fine Premier League form. Palace’s new identity is starting to shine through with two wins already collected this season.

However, much of that has been tempered because of a potential defensive injury crisis — team captain Scott Dann underwent scans Thursday to determine the extent of a hamstring injury which forced him from his team’s 2-0 victory against Southampton. The fitness level of James Tomkins is also in doubt, meaning manager Alan Padrew might be required to shuffle the pack to take on Moyes’ side.

The match between Sunderland and Crystal Palace will be available online only. Live streaming is available on NBCSports, which you can access with your cable or satellite subscriptions, either online or through their mobile app. For more information on live streaming options, click here.

Given Sunderland’s historic and underwhelming play during the months of August and September, and Palace’s steady trend upward, look for this to be a 2-0 clean sheet road victory for the Eagles.
