Striker Majoro unlikely fit for last group game
Striker Lehlohonolo Majoro has been added to South Africa's growing injury list, a gash to his left calf putting him in doubt for a crucial final group game in the African Cup of Nations.
Majoro scored Bafana Bafana's second goal in the 2-0 win over Angola on Wednesday, but needed stitches to the deep cut after being taken off on a stretcher in the final minutes.
The team says on Thursday that Majoro won't be rushed back into action.
South Africa already has midfielders Kagisho Dikgacoi and Lerato Chabangu sidelined with injuries, while forward Katlego Mphela and winger Thulani Serero are only slowly returning to full fitness.
The host team plays Morocco in its final Group A game on Sunday.
