Striker Kiessling extends contract with Leverkusen
Striker Stefan Kiessling, the top scorer in the Bundesliga last season, has extended his contract with Bayer Leverkusen by two years until 2017.
The 29-year-old Kiessling has been with Leverkusen since 2006. General manager Wolfgang Holzhaeuser said Friday he hopes the player will finish his career with the club.
Kiessling scored 25 league goals last season as Leverkusen finished third behind Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund and qualified for this season's Champions League.
