Charlie Adam ended a five-month scoring drought to give Stoke a 1-0 win over Norwich and move the team closer to securing another season in the Premier League.

Adam netted just after the break to give Stoke back-to-back victories for the first time since December, following last weekend's 2-0 win at QPR. The win puts Stoke on 40 points, eight points outside the relegation zone. Norwich, though, is now six points outside the drop zone and has a vital game now next Saturday against Aston Villa.

Stoke's goal came in the 46th as a long ball pumped forward from Huth found the head of Peter Crouch for a knockdown into the area, and Adam stole in for a simple left-foot shot underneath Mark Bunn from seven yards.
