Southampton midfielder Wanyama denies holding talks with Wenger
Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama has quashed rumours that he could be set for a move to Arsenal this summer.
The Kenya international was quoted on Thursday as saying that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger had "let it be known that he wants to sign me this summer."
But Wanyama has hit back at the stories and insisted that he has not discussed a potential transfer with the Arsenal boss.
"Have to make it clear that I have not said what has been brought up today am [a] professional and will never say that," the 25-year-old said on Twitter.
"To cut the story short have never spoken to Wenger", he added.
