South Korea takes 3rd place at Asian Cup

South Korea has won the third-place game at the Asian Cup, beating Uzbekistan 3-2 and automatically qualifying for the 2015 tournament.

South Korea was led by two goals from Ji Dong-won on Friday and one from Koo Ja-cheol. Alexander Geynrikh scored twice for the Uzbeks, the first goal on a penalty kick.

The title game is Saturday between Japan and Australia.
