Inter Milan director Marco Branca says Wesley Sneijder won't play again for the club until he makes a decision about his future, adding to speculation the Dutch playmaker could be set for a January move to Manchester United.

Inter wants Sneijder to sign a new contract which would see him take a significant pay cut. Sneijder, who has two years remaining on his current deal, is the highest earner at the club with a salary of around 6 million euros ($7.8 million) annually.

Branca said Saturday that Sneijder won't play until he makes a decision as ''we want to give the player and his staff all the necessary time to evaluate well the terms of our offer.''

Sneijder has long been linked with a move to the Premier League.
