Though Slovenia tops its World Cup group, coach Matjaz Kek says the United States is the clear favorite going into their match on Friday.
Kek said Wednesday that ``to me the picture is clear,'' considering the FIFA rankings and the fact that the U.S. made it to the final of the Confederations Cup last year. The U.S. is currently ranked 14th in the world and tiny Slovenia is 25th.
If Slovenia wins the match at Ellis Park it will advance to the second round. In comments translated from Slovene, Kek said: ``That would be a sensation, but I'm sure we are capable of it.''
The coach said the squad is injury free and all 23 players are available to play against the U.S.
