Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko feels he is living the dream as he prepares to take on Manchester City on Saturday.

The France international announced his arrival in the Premier League with a brace against Chelsea last month and claims such games are what mark the competition out as the best in the world.

"One of the reasons I came to Newcastle was to play against the big clubs like Chelsea and City," said Sissoko, quoted in the Daily Star.

"I've always thought the Premier League is the best in the world and nothing I have experienced so far has made me change my mind.

"For me, it's a dream to play in such great games and come up against such great players.

"Newcastle have helped fulfil my dreams. That is why every time I go out there I give my best shot to keep the dream alive.

It's going to be hard for us but we'll give it a real go and we'll do everything possible to come away with the victory."

The Magpies travel to the Etihad Stadium on Saturday just six points above the Premier League relegation zone.
