Siena and Sampdoria have fired their coaches, marking the sixth and seventh managerial changes in Serie A this season.

Last-place Siena sacked Serse Cosmi and hired Giuseppe Iacchini as a replacement a day after a 4-1 loss to Fiorentina.

Sampdoria got rid of Ciro Ferrara and brought in Delio Rossi a day after losing 3-1 to Catania, which left the Genoa club only three points above the relegation zone.

Rossi was fired by Fiorentina in May when he attacked Adem Ljajic after the Serbian forward protested his substitution. He also previously coached Lazio.
