Kilmarnock boss Kenny Shiels admits he is hoping to keep Kris Boyd at Rugby Park next season.
Boyd, who is in his second spell at Kilmarnock, rejoined his old club on a short-term deal in February after leaving MLS side Portland Timbers.
The former Rangers man has scored two goals in his last two games and Shiels plans to talk with the 29-year-old about extending his stay in Ayrshire.
"I'd like to keep him, obviously, and I'm hoping that something might happen," he told the Daily Record.

"However, I've still to speak to Kris and to the chairman so we'll need to wait and see."
