Shakhtar signs Arsenal's Croatia striker Eduardo
Shakhtar Donetsk has signed Croatia striker Eduardo Da Silva from Arsenal on a four-year contract.
The Ukrainian club did not announce a fee for the Brazilian-born forward.
Eduardo joined Arsenal from Dinamo Zagreb in July 2007 but struggled to recapture his best form after a year out with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.
Eduardo scored a total 20 goals in 67 appearances for the Gunners.
He was seriously injured in his debut season for Arsenal against Birmingham in February 2008.
He returned to play four games the following season and 32 in 2009-10 as Arsenal finished third in the Premier League.
