Shakhtar Donetsk has signed Croatia striker Eduardo Da Silva from Arsenal on a four-year contract.

The Ukrainian club did not announce a fee for the Brazilian-born forward.

Eduardo joined Arsenal from Dinamo Zagreb in July 2007 but struggled to recapture his best form after a year out with a broken leg and dislocated ankle.

Eduardo scored a total 20 goals in 67 appearances for the Gunners.
