The 30-year-old is transfer-listed at Craven Cottage and has made just a handful of appearances this term. South China offered Seol the chance to join them for the rest of the season, but he has turned down the offer. "It was a bit disappointing as we were close to signing a classy player," South China chairman Steven Lo told the South China Morning Post. "But his decision is understandable as Seol wants to boost his chances of playing for his country in the World Cup finals. Playing in the Hong Kong league would not do him any favours." Seol joined Saudi Arabia's Al-Hilal on a six month loan last January before returning to Fulham ahead of the current campaign, but has made just one start this season.
