Seasiders unveil new stand plans
The Seasiders must complete their ground improvements in time for their first season back in the top flight since 1971. Chairman Karl Oyston told the club's official website: "The solution we've arrived at, which I think gives us the best answer to most of the problems, is to go totally modular with a stand that we can have in place by the start of the season that would have a supporter capacity of 5,070. "That would also accommodate the press in the very centre of the stand with the press facilities underneath that totally comply with Premier League regulations." Oyston also revealed that plans were under way for new training facilities, adding: "We've identified a couple of areas, we've spoken to the local authorities and appointed an architect now to take that scheme forward. "I intend to move the whole football side away from the stadium and give them the training facilities that they deserve."
