Seagulls bag Baggie Jara loan
Jara has been with the Baggies since 2009 when he arrived from Colo Colo, but he has struggled to make an impression under Roy Hodgson this season. The Chile international has not appeared in the Premier League since a five-minute outing as a substitute against Manchester United in West Brom's opening game of the campaign. He has now linked up with Brighton until the New Year and Seagulls boss Gus Poyet is happy to have added Jara Reyes' versatility to his squad. Poyet told the club's official website: "Gonzalo has a great pedigree having played for Chile's top team, before helping West Brom to promotion to the Premiership. "He also has Premiership experience having been a first choice last season, and he will bring quality and add experience of this level and higher, and help us recapture our early season form. "He also brings versatility: he can play anywhere across the back four or as a defensive midfielder." Jara will go straight into the Seagulls' squad for Monday night's Championship fixture at home to West Ham United.
