Rangers strengthened its grip on top spot in the Scottish Premier League by beating St. Mirren 2-0 as Celtic lost to Hibernian 2-1 on Wednesday.

Rangers has a 10-point lead over Celtic as it bids for a second straight title, although it has played a game more than its Glasgow rival.

Substitute Danny Galbraith's stoppage-time winner clinched Hibernian's win at Celtic. Marc-Antoine Fortune had headed Celtic into a 5th-minute lead from Paul Caddis' corner and the home side appeared to be in control.

But Anthony Stokes found room inside the Celtic box to flick a header past Artur Boruc in the 26th.
