Scotland supporter dies after falling down stairwell at Parkhead

A soccer fan has died after falling down a stairwell following Scotland's European Qualifier against the Republic of Ireland on Friday.

Nathan McSeveney, 20, was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary following the accident at Glasgow's Celtic Park but later died.

The incident happened at exit 33 of the stadium and a police spokesman said: "Relatives have been informed and the Health and Safety Executive have been made aware.

"There are no suspicious circumstances and a report will be prepared for the procurator fiscal."
