Saudi Arabia drew 0-0 with Angola in an international friendly match Tuesday ahead of the Asian Cup in Qatar, which begins on Friday.

Thousands of fans were disappointed to see the Saudi team produce a very weak performance in the absence of its star striker Yasser Al Qahtani.

The home team improved in the second half but could not find a winner. Nasser Al Shamrani, Muhanad Asiri and Nayef Hazzazi missed the Saudis' best chances.

Angola failed to muster a serious threat on goal in the entire match as it focused on defense.
